Non-target organisms and GM crops: Assessing the effects of Bt proteins

To review the latest scientific insights on Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) proteins, their effects on non-target organisms and the valued ecosystem services they provide, as well as the assessment of such effects, the Netherlands Commission on Genetic Modification (COGEM) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) jointly organised an international scientific workshop. This workshop was held in November 2012.

The event report of the workshop is now available. In this event report an overview of the presentations given, remarks made and the discussion points put forward during the workshop is provided.
