Risk Classification of Organisms: Pathogenicity classification of fungi. Status: October 2021

NOTE: This list has been updated in 2023 (see CGM/230828-03).

The Netherlands Commission on Genetic Modification (COGEM) advises the Dutch government (amongst others) on the classification in risk groups (classes) of organisms according to the risk they pose to human health and the environment. These advices are written in Dutch and therefore only published on the Dutch part of the COGEM website.
In order to inform other countries and/or organisations on the classification of organisms by COGEM, an overview of the classifications is published on the English part of the website. These lists are updated annually.
